Why Plant-Based/Vegan?

Accumulated medical evidence and research have shown that being plant-based/vegan is the best diet humans can consume once we are weaned!  According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, people who are plant-based/vegan are less likely to develop heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure, than those who eat meat, dairy, marine animals and other sources of animal protein .Not only those who are plant-based/vegan get all the nutrients get all of the major macro and micro nutrients they need to be healthy; Evidence shows that those who are plant-based are healthier because they get more phyto-chemicals, antioxidants, fibers, and other plant compounds that help find oxidative stress reverse the effects of aging and improve athletic performance and exercise recovery and equally importantly those eating plant-based don’t get all of the unhealthy things in meat, dairy and other animal products that may slow you down, make you sick, increase your risk for chronic disease and dementia and shorten your life-span such as cholesterol, saturated animal fat, bacterial pathogens, TMAO, Neu5Gc, and animal protein itself.

Living a Healthy plant-based/vegan lifestyle has many benefits. Many people grow up mistakenly believing that animal products like meat and milk are essential parts of a healthy diet. However, well-planned plant-based/vegan diets will lead to  healthier, more robust, functional,  and long-term lives.
